Next on the list was Aladdin!

We started out our dinner with some hummus and naan bread. When I can, I like to make most of my stuff homemade. I followed this recipe from Inspired Taste to make my hummus. https://www.inspiredtaste.net/15938/easy-and-smooth-hummus-recipe/ I bought the naan bread at the store!

Our main course was Middle Eastern Chicken Kabobs with cous cous. I followed this recipe from Once Upon a Chef Blog. https://www.onceuponachef.com/recipes/middle-eastern-chicken-kebabs.html. Her recipe calls for a little spicier of kabobs. But cut out the heat all together because I know my kids won't eat anything spicy. I just bought cous cous from the store and made it to the same instructions on the box.

Here are my girls enjoying dinner. They actually enjoyed all of it! I was so proud of them. I think it was the excitement of movie night that makes them try new things!

Prior to having dinner, we had to make our dessert so they had time to dry. We made magic carpet graham crackers. We just took some purple frosting and covered our graham crackers with them.( I made homemade frosting but of course out of a can is perfectly fine too!) Then we used sprinkles to decorate our magic carpets. They enjoyed the hands on mess making fun!

The girls had a blast helping mommy and we loved watching singing along to all the songs in the movie!
