Pocahontas

Up next was Pocahontas!

She was an easy choice, as i was waiting on my requests for he library to come back. Pocahontas was on Netflix!

I felt like this menu was pretty straight forward. The Indians meeting the explorers. So we basically had Thanksgiving dinner.

I had made a small Turkey breast. (Enough to feed my family of 4) as well as homemade mashed potatoes. I also heated up some corn, used premade Turkey gravy, and made the refrigerated biscuits in the pop open can.

For dessert, I made acorn chocolate treats. They were pretty good! I had bought a box of mini vanilla wafers from the store and a bag of the white chocolate hershey kisses. I would have bought regular hershey kisses, but my family isn't a big fan of chocolate. So I opted for the white chocolate instead. All I did was heat up a small pan on the stove enough to just get it warm. They I placed the hershey kiss on the pan for one second, enough to just melt the bottom a little, so that it would stick to the mini wafer. Then i did the same with a white chocolate chip and placed it on top. So....Tada! Acorns!
